Our new kindergarten came out of a request to have something different for the stages of the kindergarten years, something planned out and something that didn’t rely heavily on using other resources for support.

Our new kindergarten is called A Journey Through Waldorf Homeschooling, Early Childhood. This encompasses our Before the Journey work and two full years of kindergarten. One year is for the 4/5 yr. and the other is for the 6yo year. Each year is 12 months of stories, nearly all original, about a sweet gnome and his adventures. The 6yo year will include things that will get your young one ready for the adventure of grade 1, as well as help you with school space organization and getting yourself ready.

The Early Childhood Curriculum includes 52 weeks of stories for 4/5 yo and 52 weeks of stories for 6yo. It includes weekly recipes, nature table suggestions and monthly circles. There are also 2 to 4 handwork projects for Mom EACH month! The 6yo lessons have some handwork for the child as well. The curriculum includes a support link with circle time songs and handwork instructions. It also includes an hour of consulting via phone or email with Melisa.

We are pre-releasing this now in digital form. Right now you will have access to everything except the completed 6yo lessons, we have them released currently through October and should have November up in the next week as well. Then the rest will be completed by the end of November.

Like our Thinking Feeling Willing program and our new support links for the grades, the support links for Early Childhood have the potential to be continually added to, this gives us the opportunity to bring you more and more through the years.
