243. The Child at 12

Melisa Nielsen at Waldorf Essentials continues the series of

 "The Child At __". 

Today's focus is the 12 year old. 

Big changes are happening at 12. 

- Crossing the “Rubicon”

- More materialistic.

- Want to be with friends more. 

- Asking for technology more. 

- You are able to explain more to them. 

It's important to stay firm in the rules you set and hold boundaries with this child. 

We always like having friends come over to our place, because then you know more of what is going on. Take the time to get to know your child's friends.
